Carol Price-Torok, the 2018 Missouri Valley Conference Coach of the Year and a former UTSA assistant coach, will enter her third season as UTSA's head coach in 2024 after spending the previous six years as the head coach at Bradley.

After going 8-18 in her first season at the helm, the Roadrunners took major strides forward, concluding the 2023 campaign with a 15-15 record, the most victories in a single season since 2019. Price-Torok reached an important milestone on the year, as she picked up her 100th career victory on Sept. 15 after the squad swept Oral Roberts as a part of the Cardinal Classic.

Both figures ranked in the top 50 in the nation at the conclusion of the regular season. Sophomore Mia Soerensen was named second-team all-AAC, marking UTSA's first selection since joining the league and the first second-team performer since 2018. Additionally, the Roadrunners recorded nine sweeps for the first time since accomplishing the feat in 2015.

Prior to Bradley, Price-Torok spent eight seasons as the associate head coach and recruiting coordinator at Arkansas where she helped the Razorbacks to back-to-back NCAA Tournament bids in 2012 and 2013.

Individually, Arkansas produced four All-Americans, five all-region picks and eight all-SEC selections during her tenure.

Before her time in Fayetteville, Price-Torok spent two seasons (2006 and 2007) as an assistant coach at UTSA where she coached two first-team All-Southland Conference players.

Price-Torok started her coaching career in 2005 at Southwestern where the Pirates were named the SCAC Conference Champions and earned a NCAA Division III Tournament bid.

During her collegiate career at Texas A&M, she was part of four consecutive NCAA Tournament teams and started her final two years at outside hitter after playing middle blocker her freshman and sophomore seasons. The team's 2003 offensive MVP, Price-Torok was selected as Big 12 Player of the Week twice during her senior year and was a second-team Big 12 Scholar-Athlete.
