SAN ANTONIO – On Monday, UTSA Volleyball released its 2026 schedule, Head Coach Carol Price-Torok announced. The Roadrunners are set to play 27 regular-season matches, including 16 in American Conference action. The Navy & Orange will host 13 matches from the Convocation Center, with eight in league play. Price-Torok’s bunch will open their campaign on Aug. 28 at a tournament hosted by Arkansas.
The ‘Runners will play two Power Four programs in the regular season, also making a trip to Houston. There, they will square off with the Cougars of the Big 12, in addition to matchups against Houston Christian and rival Texas State.
UTSA’s non-conference home slate will come over the first two weekends of September. The Roadrunners are slated to host five opponents across the pair of tournaments: Incarnate Word, Tarleton State, IU Indianapolis, East Texas A&M and Gonzaga.
The American Conference schedule in 2026 will feature 16 matchups, with eight at home and eight on the road. UTSA will open league play at Tulane on Friday, Sept. 25. The regular season is set to close 52 days later in Convocation Center as Memphis rolls in on Nov. 15.
Head Coach Carol Price-Torok, on the 27-match slate: “We’re so excited to hit the court this fall. Both at home and away, our non-conference tournaments pose great opportunities against quality opponents, especially with multiple Power Four programs. We know the caliber of the American Conference is improving every year across the board, so I look forward to competing for a championship with this team. Because of a great mix of returning veterans and new talent on the roster, you’re not going to want to miss them. They’re fun to coach and I can’t wait to see what they can accomplish.”
