SAN ANTONIO — The UTSA Department of Intercollegiate Athletics celebrated 45 spring student-athlete graduates in a ceremony on Saturday night on Main Campus.
“Helping our student-athletes graduate and preparing them for their futures is our most important objective," UTSA Vice President for Intercollegiate Athletics Lisa Campos said. "We are proud of our student-athlete graduates and are excited for their futures. It is no easy task to manage the demands of competing in an NCAA Division I sport coupled with a full academic load. We know these student-athletes will continue to be terrific ambassadors for UTSA.”
UTSA’s Spring Commencement is held in two ceremonies on Sunday at the Alamodome.
UTSA’s student-athlete graduates represent:

- 12 NCAA/national individual postseason appearances
- 4 bowl games
- 2 bowl victories
- 1 individual regional champion
- 4 team conference championships
- 5 individual conference championships
- 24 all-conference selections
- 8 national scholar awards
- 10 academic all-district selections
- 17 conference all-academic team selections
- 4 conference academic medals
- 20 conference academic honor roll selections
- 3 NCA All-America certificates
- NCA Fourth-Place All-Girl & Top Gun Cheerleader
- 700 community service hours
