James Taussig Season 2024-25

Prior to UTSA
Radford (2021-22): As a freshman with the Highlanders, he played in 23 games, starting 21 as the designated hitter… batted .308 with 16 RBI and a .513 slugging percentage... tied for the team lead with four home runs... tallied 24 hits with four doubles and 10 walks.
 
High School: Attended Episcopal High School in Houston, Texas… played three years of varsity baseball for the Knights under head coach Matt Fox…  helped the Knights to private school state championships in 2018 and 2021 … as a senior, hit .567 with five home runs and 36 RBI… tabbed as a Perfect Game Preseason Texas Region Honorable Mention All-American.
 
Personal: Son of Eloise and James Taussig III… has one brother, Walter… majoring in Finance.
