Cory Marr enters his second year as a Volunteer Assistant Coach on the Roadrunner staff.
Before coming to UTSA, Marr was an assistant coach at Permian High School in Odessa, Texas. His role included planning and running training sessions, while focusing on the backline specifically.
Marr graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Dallas Baptist in 2018 with a concentration in management and a minor in sports management where he was a member of the men’s soccer team.
While at DBU, Marr helped coordinate the International Soccer Ministry, a ministry which brings international students on campus together through the game of soccer, as well as led a weekly bible study through Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
While in San Antonio, Marr will also be on staff for Alamo City Soccer Club in administrative and coaching roles. He has also worked for Solar Soccer Club, one of the fastest growing youth soccer clubs in the North Texas area.
