Kristin Boeker will begin her seventh season overall and sixth year as associate head coach at UTSA this fall. Boeker has been a part of Steve Ballard’s staff since the program’s inception in 2005.

She serves as the program’s recruiting coordinator and also oversees summer camp, travel arrangements and daily operations of the team’s practices. Boeker also works closely with the goalies, who have posted 46 shutouts in just six seasons, including a school-record 10 in 2010.

Last season, Danielle Snyder earned Southland Conference Goalkeeper of the Week award three times before being named an honorable mention all-league selection.

Under Boeker’s tutelage, Dacia Webb established herself as one of the league’s top goalies in 2009 and she continued to build on that success the following season. The Rosenberg native set single-season marks with 10 wins and seven shutouts. Four of UTSA’s last five victories came via a shutout, including the Southland Tournament Championship where the Roadrunners defeated top-seed Southeastern Louisiana in overtime. Webb was named the event’s Most Valuable Player after allowing just one goal in nearly 294 minutes of action while making 19 saves.

Webb established a single-game record with 16 stops twice, against Baylor in 2010 and Stephen F. Austin the year prior. As a freshman, Webb was a three-time Southland Goalkeeper of the Week honoree and she also earned honorable mention all-conference accolades.

Boeker has helped coach 26 all-conference performers, including six first-teamers, and two Southland Freshman of the Year winners (Chelsea Zimmerman 2006/Allison Dillon 2007). In 2011, Anka Grotle became the first player in program annals to earn first-team accolades in back-to-back seasons and the first repeat selection since Ezinne Okpo was named to the league’s top squad in 2007 and again two years later.

After a standout four-year playing career at Missouri, Boeker began her collegiate coaching career at Eastern Illinois in 2002.

She helped guide the Panthers to a 36-18-9 record in three years, including three consecutive Ohio Valley Conference (OVC) Tournament Championships and NCAA Tournament appearances. An EIU player garnered the OVC Tournament Most Valuable Player award all three years she was there and 17 players earned all-conference honors and a dozen more were all-tournament selections. The Panthers boasted the OVC Player of the Year in 2003 and the OVC Freshman of the Year the following fall.

Boeker had a stellar career at Missouri, lettering from 1997-2000. As a junior, she helped lead the Tigers to their first NCAA Tournament appearance in 1999.

Boeker was named an honorable mention Freshman All-American by Soccer Buzz and also earned a spot on the publication's Freshman All-Central Region team. She earned honorable mention All-Big 12 accolades and was the Tigers’ Offensive Player of the Year. As a sophomore, she was named second-team All-Big 12, earned a spot on the conference’s all-tournament team and once again was a member of Soccer Buzz’ All-Central Region team.

Boeker was an assistant coach for the Missouri Olympic Development Program in Region II from 2002-04 and served as an assistant coach at Hickman High School in Columbia, Mo., in 2002.

A member of the National Soccer Coaches Association, she has been involved with a multitude of well-known soccer camps at Eastern Illinois, Missouri, Notre Dame and Stanford.
