Played in eight games and drew a start at cornerback in the 52-24 win against Texas Southern … posted a pair of tackles and an interception in that victory over the Tigers … recorded 16 total tackles, 14 solo stops, one tackles for loss, two interceptions, one pass breakup and a quarterback hurry for the season … logged a season-high seven tackles and a QB pressure in the 44-38 double-overtime win at UAB … had a 21-yard interception return in the 51-7 rout of Louisiana Tech … tallied three tackles and broke up a pass in the 45-30 road triumph over Middle Tennessee.

Played in 11 games at wide receiver in his true freshman campaign … had seven receptions for 26 yards and two rushes for nine yards … drew a start against Texas A&M and caught a 10-yard pass on the first play from scrimmage of that contest … logged his first career catch for three yards at Baylor … had a 2-yard reception in the 26-16 victory at UTEP … was on the receiving end of a pass in the win over Rice … caught a 6-yard pass at North Texas … had a season-long 7-yard scamper versus UAB.

Multi-sport athlete who was a standout wide receiver for head coach Emanuel Powell at Landry-Walker High School in 2018 … earned first-team All-District 8-5A honors … caught 42 passes for 931 yards and 11 touchdowns as a senior in his first year playing the sport since the eighth grade … also recorded a pair of interceptions, two punt returns for TDs and a kickoff return for a touchdown in 2018 … helped lead Landry-Walker to the second round of the 2018 Class 5A playoffs … had a 14-yard TD reception against Destrehan in the second round of the playoffs … also a first-team All-Metro performer for the basketball team … helped lead the Charging Bucs to the Class 5A state title game in hoops as a junior.
