High School: Attended Sharyland High School in Mission, Texas, where he was coached by Austin Bickerton… earned first team all-district as a utility player in his sophomore year, leading the Rattlers to the second round of playoffs that season… named Team MVP and District Offensive Player of the Year, after aiding the team to the first rounf of playoffs in his junior year… also played varsity football and was involved in history club and national honor society.
Personal: Son of Leticia Cavazos and Eduardo Diaz… has one brother, Eduardo… plans to major in business finance.
