Men's Basketball National TV games and tip times announced

SAN ANTONIO – The 2025-26 men’s basketball season is on the horizon in the beginning of November and UTSA fans now have all the information needed to catch the Roadrunners in person or on TV. On Tuesday, officials from the American Conference announced the league’s selections for linear broadcast television this season, and UTSA will appear four times on nationally televised ESPN Networks games. All of UTSA’s national games this season will be on the road. With the league’s TV announcement, tipoff times for the remaining games were announced as well.

In the first of four national TV games, UTSA’s Jan. 3 matchup in Philadelphia at Temple’s Liacouras Center will appear on ESPNU and tip off at 11 a.m. CT. The Jan. 18 trip to face reigning American Champion Memphis at FedEx Forum will tip at 5 p.m. CT on ESPN2. On to Feb. 15 at Charlotte’s Halton Arena, with the Roadrunners and 49ers tipping off at 11 a.m. CT on ESPNU. In a late-season matchup at Tulsa on Feb. 22, the Roadrunners and Golden Hurricane will tip off at 3 p.m. CT at the Reynolds Center.

The Roadrunners’ season opener is scheduled for 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 5, with College of Biblical Studies at the Convocation Center in an ESPN+ streaming broadcast.

The American Conference opener is set for 12 p.m. CT on New Year’s Eve, with UTSA traveling to Boca Raton to face Florida Atlantic on ESPN+.

Among the remaining 26 games on the schedule, at least 20 will be broadcast live on ESPN+, one on Big Ten Network (at USC, 8 p.m. CT on Dec. 17), one on SEC Network (at Alabama, 1 p.m. CT on Dec. 7) and one on Summit League Network (at Denver, 1 p.m. CT on Nov. 15).  Broadcast designations for three games have not been announced/determined at this time.

Featuring 11 newcomers to the 2025-26 squad, the Roadrunners are heading into the second year under head coach Austin Claunch and third season in the American Conference. Across UTSA’s 30-game schedule, there will be 14 games on the home slate at the Convocation Center.

Before the season officially gets under way, fans can get a preview of the 2025-26 squad with a locally focused exhibition, scheduled for 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 25, in the San Antonio Challenge at the Convocation Center. The men’s team will face off with Incarnate Word after the UTSA women’s basketball team plays Texas A&M San Antonio at 1 p.m.

All UTSA men's basketball games will air live on the radio in the San Antonio area on Ticket 760 and The Bull 93.3, respectively. Every broadcast will feature a 30-minute pregame and 15-minute postgame show, and will be available online at Ticket760.com or TheBullCountry.com and everywhere fans want to listen via the free iHeartRadio app. Andy Everett will return for his 19th season as the play-by-play announcer of UTSA men's basketball games.

Season tickets for the 2025-26 UTSA men’s basketball season are on sale and available to the public at goUTSA.com/tickets or by calling or texting the UTSA Ticket Office at 210-458-8872.

Season tickets at the Convocation Center are available for lower level reserved ($165) seating and general admission upper level ($115) seating. To better support UTSA’s basketball student-athletes, the total price of men’s basketball reserved season tickets includes a $50 Roadrunner Athletic Fund (RAF) per-seat contribution. Per-seat contributions count towards RAF membership levels and benefits and increase each member's RAF Loyalty Points.

In addition, RAF members can purchase courtside seating for $550, and a combined men’s and women’s basketball season ticket is available for $210 by contacting the UTSA Ticket Office at 210-458-8872.
