UTSA falls to Oregon on the road

EUGENE, Ore. – The UTSA men’s tennis team (3-2) saw its three-match win streak end on Sunday at the UO Student Tennis Center, as host Oregon secured a 4-0 win over the visiting Roadrunners, splitting UTSA’s weekend in the Beaver State.

The Ducks went up early on the doubles point with first- and second-court wins. In singles play, UTSA shot ahead early, with Danijal Muminovic and Oskar Grzegorzewski claiming first-set victories on courts two and three – however, both courts concluded unfinished as Oregon registered point wins on courts four, one and then the clinch on six.

The Roadrunners split the weekend after delivering a 6-1 victory over a talented Denver team on Saturday afternoon on the same courts.
