SAN ANTONIO — UTSA volleyball coach Carol Price-Torok officially unveiled the squad's spring schedule on Thursday. The Roadrunners will host Texas and Texas State inside the Convocation Center before competing in San Marcos, Texas, at the Texas State Tournament and in Waco, Texas, against Baylor.
“We are incredibly excited to invite Texas into the Convo to start our spring season,” said Price-Torok on the spring slate. This will be an amazing opportunity to test our squad against the best of the best and raise funds for our upcoming European trip…we can't wait to get the spring started!”
UTSA will first invite the two-time defending National Champion Longhorns into the Convo on Monday, Mar. 4, with first serve set for 7 p.m. Tickets will be available for $13 at the following link: goutsa.com/vbvstexas. Additionally, a portion of the proceeds will go toward the Roadrunner's upcoming European Tour, which will see the squad spend 10 Days across Budapest, Maribor, Florence, Venice, and Rome, interwoven with cultural stops along the way. The Runners will then face the Bobcats in a free-admission Battle of I-35 on Friday, Mar. 22, at 7 p.m., before hitting the road for the Texas State Tournament on Saturday, Mar. 30. UTSA wraps up the Spring slate on Saturday, Apr. 6, in Waco, Texas, where a 2 p.m. showdown against Big XI foe Baylor awaits.
