HUNTINGTON, W. Va. – UTSA snapped a six game road conference losing streak Friday night, as they shut out Marshall, 3-0 in Huntington, W. Va.

The Roadrunners ratcheted up the intensity even more at the beginning of the second half, as they tallied 16 shots, more than doubling their total in the first half (six). Their persistence paid off, as Deja Sandoval converted in the 71st minute off of an Ellis Patterson assist. UTSA wasn't finished however as they kept up the attack and in the 84th minute they broke through again as Sutter scored her second goal of the game. This time coming off assists from Kiran Singh and Patterson.
