SAN ANTONIO – Kody Darcy had three hits and Shane Sirdashney belted a two-run home run to led the Blue squad to a 6-3 win over the Black team in the first game of the UTSAA baseball Fall World Series, on Thursday night at Roadrunner Field.
Darcy went 3-for-3 with a walk and hit by pitch and Sirdashney, a native of The Woodlands, Texas, cranked a clutch two-run homer to lead the Blue offensive attack.
Braylon Owens worked four strong shutout innings for the Blue squad.
The best of five series resumes on Friday and Saturday and Nov. 4-5 at Roadrunner Field.
