UTSA's Kai Breitbach (Kaarst, Germany), Joao Ceolin (Palontina, Brazil), Patrick Poestinger (Ennsdorf, Austria), Juri Reckow (Hamburg, Germany) and Sebastian Rodriguez (Trujillo, Peru) each earned the honor, which recognizes student-athletes that sported a strong GPA during the academic year.

Poestinger, a senior, had a 3.58 as an information studies and cyber security major. Rodriguez earned a 3.55 GPA as a business major, while Breitbach had a 3.54 GPA as a finance major. Reckow, who went 9-0 on the court in singles play during the year, had a 3.4 as an economics major. Ceolin sports a 3.10 GPA as a sociology major.

Behind first-year head coach Sergey Avdeyev, the Roadrunners posted five wins during the shortened season. UTSA was led by Reckow, an All-Conference USA honoree, who won nine of his 10 singles points and Sebastian Rodriguez, who claimed C-USA Freshman of the Year honors.
