Men's Tennis wraps up road schedule at ACU

SAN ANTONIO -- The UTSA men's tennis team will wrap up its road schedule with a matchup on Saturday at Abilene Christian at 2 p.m. 
 
UTSA (13-8) will conclude its regular season on Tuesday vs. UIW at the UTSA Tennis Center. 
 
The Roadrunners have won two of their last three matches, with the trio of events coming in the Conference USA Showcase, hosted by Rice in Houston last weekend. UTSA posted 4-1 wins over UAB and Southern Miss before falling vs. Rice. 
 
UTSA has a 63-42 record in singles and a 29-24 mark in doubles in 2019. The Roadrunners have been led in singles by junior Javier Rodriguez (Trujillo, Peru), who sports a 15-4 record. Junior Juri Reckow (Hamburg, Germany) has posted a 13-5 record in singles, with freshman Alan Sanson (Santiago, Chile) sporting a 9-6 record. 
 
Junior Kai Brietbach (Kaarst, Geramny) sports a 7-11 record in singles, including a 6-11 mark in the No. 1 role. Junior Joao Ceolin (Palotina, Brazil) has posted an 8-7 record in singles and junior Javier Gonzalez (San Fernado, Chile) owns a 7-6 record. Junior Patrick Poestinger (Ennsdorf, Austria) has posted a 4-3 record in singles.
 
Ceolin and Reckow lead the team with a 10-7 record in doubles. Brietbach and Sanson sport a 6-8 record with Poestinger sporting a 6-4 record with Rodriguez. Leon Hein (Hamburg, Germany) has posted a 2-0 record in doubles matches with Rodriguez.
