Men's Tennis hosts UTRGV on Saturday

SAN ANTONIO – After a nine-match swing on the road, which featured seven wins, UTSA men's tennis will return to home to host UTRGV at 11 a.m. at the UTSA Tennis Center. 
 
UTSA (9-2) has won three straight matches entering the tilt with UTRGV, including a 4-0 win over the Vaqueros on Feb. 22 in Corpus Christi as part of the H-E-B Tournament of Champions. 
 
The Roadrunners have posted a 41-17 record in singles play and an 18-9 mark in doubles. 
 
UTSA has been led in singles by Purdue transfer Javier Rodriguez (Trujillo, Peru), who has a 10-1 mark in singles, while combining to go 7-3 in doubles in three different pairs. 
 
Junior Kai Breitbach (Kaarst, Germany) has posted a 2-7 record in singles in the lead role, while combining with Alan Sanson (Santiago, Chile) to go 4-3 in doubles. Sanson is 6-1 in singles. 
 
Joao Ceolin (Palotina, Brazil) has a 6-3 record in singles and has teamed with Juri Reckow (Hamburg, Germany) to go 7-2 in doubles. Reckow owns a 8-2 record in singles. 
 
Javier Gonzalez (San Fernando, Chile) owns a 5-2 record in singles and has posted a 2-3 record in doubles with Rodriguez. Patrick Poestinger (Ennsdorf, Austria) is 4-1 in singles and 3-0 in doubles.
