SAN ANTONIO – Head women's basketball coach Kristen Holt announced the addition of Olivia Bower and Gabriel Sanchez to the 2019-20 staff on Thursday.
Bower will serve as the director of operations, while Sanchez is the new video coordinator.
Olivia Bower
Before coming to the Alamo City, Bower played four years at Ohio University. During her career, the Bobcats qualified for the WNIT three times, including advancing to the quarterfinals in 2019, defeating conference foes WKU and Middle Tennessee during the tournament.
She holds the Conotton Valley High School scoring record with 1,378 career points.
Bower earned her Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from Ohio University in 2019.
Gabriel Sanchez
Sanchez joins the staff after working with the men's basketball team the last two years.
Prior to UTSA, he was a coach and director for Skyhawks Sports Academy.
Sanchez graduated from UTSA in 2017 with a Bachelor of Science in kinesiology, then received his master's degree in kinesiology and health in 2019.
