ABILENE, Texas -- Abilene Christian won its 20th in 24 matches in 2019 with a 4-3 win over UTSA men's tennis on Saturday at the Teague Indoor Tennis Center.
UTSA (13-9) fell to ACU (20-4) in its road regular-season finale. The Roadrunners claimed singles points from Javier Gonzalez and Alan Sanson, who also won their doubles match, but ACU posted the four singles points to earn the win. Joao Ceolin and Patrick Poestinger teamed to help UTSA win the doubles point.
UTSA will return to action with its regular-season finale on Tuesday, hosting UIW.
