SAN ANTONIO -- UTSA men's tennis won five of six singles points to post a 6-1 win over UTRGV, on Saturday afternoon at the UTSA Tennis Center.
UTSA (10-2) won its fourth straight match, including a season sweep of UTRGV after earning a 4-0 win on Feb. 22 in Corpus Christi. The Roadrunners have opened the year winners in 10 of 12 matches, with lone losses vs. Louisiana and No. 8 Texas.
Kai Breitbach, Joao Ceolin, Javier Rodriguez, Juri Reckow and Alan Sanson each earned singles wins. Ceolin and Reckow, and Breitbach and Sanson, and Patrick Poestinger and Javier Rodriguez each posted doubles wins in a doubles sweep.
The Roadrunners will return to action on Saturday, traveling to face Texas-Arlington.
