UTSA, 63rd in the latest Golfstat Rankings, finished in the top 10 in all four fall tournaments, highlighted by winning the Lone Star Invitational in September at TPC San Antonio's Oaks Course. The Roadrunners carded a 2-over-par 578 (289-289) to capture the team title at its annual home tournament for the first time and it marked the program's second win of the calendar year. Meehan, who leads UTSA with a 72.55 stroke average, shared individual medalist honors with a 4-under 140 (68-72) for his second win of the year, as well.

The Roadrunners tied with New Mexico for eighth place at last year's Arizona Intercollegiate behind a third-place showing from Zander Lozano, who fired a 2-over 215 (74-71-70). Meanwhile, Clark carded a 1-under 215 (73-73-69) to tie for runner-up at the Arizona Medalist Intercollegiate one year ago.
