Junior (2016-17)
Posted the highest individual NCAA postseason finish in program history when he tied for 24th place at the NCAA Baton Rouge Regional … fired a 224 (77-73-74) as the third Roadrunner to earn an at-large selection to the NCAA postseason … second-team All-Conference USA honoree … led UTSA with a 72.03 stroke average … registered four top-10 finishes, including a pair of individual crowns … broke 70 10 times during the season … two-time C-USA Player of the Week … set the UTSA standard for low 54-hole scorecard with a 14-under-par 202 (66-70-66) to win Price’s “Give ‘Em Five” Invitational and help the Roadrunners to a runner-up finish … tied for first place (no playoff contested) at the season-opening Sam Hall Intercollegiate after firing a 5-under 208 (72-69-67) … tied for sixth place in back-to-back events in the spring with a 5-under 71-68—139 at the Border Olympics and a 7-under 69-66-74—209 at the Lone Star Invitational …carded a 3-under 213 (77-69-67) to tie for 13th at the All-American Intercollegiate … tied for 17th with a 223 (73-74-76) at the C-USA Championship … won the 108th Texas Amateur title in June after shooting a 10-under 274 (67-70-70-67) at Lakewood Country Club in Dallas … C-USA Commissioner’s Honor Roll member.
Sophomore (2015-16)
Played in all 12 tournaments and led the team with a 72.91 stroke average … registered four top-10 finishes, including three top fives … tied for fourth with a 217 (72-73-72) to help UTSA finish fourth at the Conference USA Championship … also tied for fourth with a 71-72-71—214 at the Bayou City Collegiate Classic and was named C-USA Player of the Week for his performance …carded a 212 (74-67-71) to place fifth at the Mark Simpson-Colorado Invitational … tied for eighth with a season-best 209 (70-69-70) at the Sam Hall Intercollegiate … recorded a 70-68-73—211 to tie for 16th at Price’s “Give ‘Em Five” Invitational … finished eighth in stroke play to advance to the match play bracket of the 116th North & South Amateur Championship at historic Pinehurst No. 2 in June … won his first match of that tournament to earn a spot in the round of 16 before being eliminated.
Freshman (2014-15)
Earned Conference USA All-Freshman Team accolades … ranked second on the squad with a 73.15 stroke average while competing in all 12 events … led the team with a 73.38 average in the spring … was tabbed C-USA Player of the Week after firing a 9-under-par 207 (72-68-67) to tie for first place at the Lone Star Invitational … grabbed third with a 70-71-70—211 at the Louisiana Classics … tied for 17th with a 218 (72-76-70) to help lead the Roadrunners to a runner-up effort at the UTSA Oak Hills Invitational … debuted with a season-best 214 (71-73-70) to tie for 20th at the Sam Hall Intercollegiate … named to the C-USA Commissioner’s Honor Roll … qualified for the Texas Amateur.
