With the score knotted at one, the Falcons responded in the bottom of the fifth, collecting two more runs on a Roadrunner fielding error and wild pitch. The BGSU's runners initially got on with a walk and a fielder's choice.
UTSA looked to rally in the last two frames but would not register any more hits before the end of the game.
Freshman hurler Madison Nelson (3-4) took the loss, but threw a solid outing until the seventh frame. The rookie allowed just two hits and one walk while striking out two batters.
Bowling Green's Miller (6-1) earned the victory after throwing a complete game, only walking one and fanning 13.
Baldwin finished 2-for-3, while sophomore Rylee Rodriguez went 1-for-3, punching out a single down the left field line in the second inning.
