Cal Poly shuts out UTSA on Thursday, 4-0

SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. – Cal Poly rolled to a 4-0 victory over UTSA on Thursday at the Mustang Courts.

The Roadrunners (8-7), who played their first of two matches in California on Thursday, dropped the doubles point and then lost three singles matchups before the contest concluded.

The Mustangs (10-4) tallied straight-sets victories at Nos. 1 and 6 singles and then added a three-set win at the second spot to complete the sweep.

UTSA will return to action on Friday at No. 43 Loyola Marymount. First serve is scheduled for 11 a.m. (CT) at the LMU Tennis Center in Los Angeles.
