SAN ANTONIO – UTSA indoor track & field competes at the 2018 Conference USA Indoor Track & Field Championships on Saturday and Sunday at the CrossPlex in Birmingham, Ala.
The event
The two-day championships open in Saturday with the women's pentathlon and close Sunday with the men's 4x400m relay on Sunday.

UTSA will compete against Charlotte, FIU, Louisiana Tech, Middle Tennessee, North Texas, Rice, Southern Miss, UTEP and WKU on both the men's and women's sides. Florida Atlantic, Marshall and UAB have a women's team only.
UTSA history at the championships
The Roadrunner men won the 2013 championship in their first try as member of Conference USA. The Roadrunners then placed seventh in 2014, second in both 2015 and 2016 and came home third last season. The UTSA women placed second in both 2013 and 2014, then claimed eighth in 2015 and ninth in 2016 before climbing to fourth last year.
