SAN ANTONIO – Kai Breitbach claimed the Flight 1 singles title, while he and teammate Igor Cantanhede captured the Flight 2 doubles championship at the UTSA Cup over the weekend at the UTSA Tennis Center.
Breitbach won three singles matches during the three-day event to win the top flight.
Breitbach and Cantanhede tallied a perfect 3-0 mark to grab the win in the second doubles flight.
Overall, the Roadrunners netted 31 wins during their home tournament.
UTSA will prepare for the ITA Texas Regional Championships, which will take place Oct. 19-22 in College Station.UTSA Cup
