The Roadrunners (12-20, 3-9 C-USA) head into the weekend off Tuesday's 5-2 loss to in-town rival Incarnate Word. The Cardinals scored four of their five runs in the final three innings to defeat the Roadrunners for the first time since the 1997 season.

On the bump, right-handed pitcher Aaron Burns boasts a 3.96 ERA in nine appearances. Burns is 3-3 on the season with 25 strikeouts in 50 innings of work.
Old Dominion (23-10, 6-6 C-USA) was scheduled to play William & Mary earlier this week, but the matchup was cancelled due to inclement weather. The Monarchs last were in action last weekend when they swept FIU, including an 11-1 victory in Sunday's finale.

Meanwhile, Victor Diaz leads the Monarchs pitching staff with a 2.20 ERA and he is 4-2 in 10 appearances (seven starts). Diaz has tossed 41 innings and recorded 20 strikeouts with seven walks.
