Serchay appeared in 38 games for the Roadrunners, mostly in the designated hitter role, but made three appearances in the outfield … batted .302 with 29 hits, 11 runs scored, three doubles, eight RBI, one home run and walked seven times … registered six multi-hit games and one multi-RBI game … held a six-game hit streak early in the season between Feb. 21 (UConn) and ended at Houston (3/1) … made a pinch-hit appearance against Texas State (5/3) and had the team’s only other hit of the night … posted a .365 slugging percentage and .346 on base percentage.

Attended Eastfield College in Dallas, Texas, and played the outfield for head coach Michael Martin … batted .403 as a freshman and registered nine home runs, 85 hits, 25 doubles and 59 RBIs … two-time all conference honoree and garnered All-American honors in 2015 … helped the Eastfield College Harvester’s to back-to-back Metro Atlantic Conference championships … attended Churchill High School and earned three letters as a pitcher/outfielder … batted a .513 clip his senior campaign with 60 hits, 46 RBIs, 19 doubles and three home runs … earned Texas High School Baseball Coaches Association third team all-state honors and was a unanimous All-District 26-5A honoree … also named to the San Antonio Express-News Area Baseball Team in 2013 and was an academic all-district selection.
