SAN ANTONIO — The UTSA men’s golf team will wrap up its fall campaign at this weekend's Price’s “Give ‘Em Five” Invitational. The three-day tournament will be hosted by UTEP at Butterfield Trail Golf Course (par 72/7,307 yards) in El Paso.
The Roadrunners will compete against Air Force, Colorado State, Idaho, Kansas, Nevada, New Mexico State, Northern Colorado, San Jose State, Texas State, UMKC, Utah, UTEP and Western New Mexico. The field will play 54 holes of stroke play with 18 holes slated for each day.
UTSA is coming off a runner-up finish at the inaugural Miramont Invitational two weeks ago in Bryan. Brett Hogan led the way with a third-place finish after carding a 4-under-par 140 (72-68) in the weather-shortened event. The junior from Calgary, Alberta, was named Conference USA Athlete of the Week for his performance the following day.
