SAN ANTONIO - Members of the UTSA women’s basketball team paid a visit to Villarreal Elementary School on Wednesday afternoon as part of their Read Along Program.
Several of the players spent over an hour with the children in the classroom, where they read them a story and helped them out with one of their activities. As part of the UTSA Athletics’ Community Service Program, the event was scheduled by UTSA women’s basketball assistant coaches Tai Dillard and Courtney Locke.
UTSA travels to Miami this weekend for a 4:30 (CT) contest at FIU.
