Victoria Vickers joined UTSA’s Sports Medicine Staff in July 2025 as part of the UTHealth San Antonio- Rehabilitation Residency program and will be working primarily with the cheer and spirit squad and men’s tennis program.
Vickers is originally from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and graduated from Langston University in 2021 with her Bachelor of Science in Health, Physical Education and Recreation. She then pursued her Master of Science in Athletic Training at the University of Central Oklahoma, graduating in May 2025. While at UCO, she covered a variety of clinical settings including high school sports, NAIA competitions, NCAA Division II athletics and a Physical Therapy clinic. She has also gained experience in covering the Special Olympics, being an on-course medical volunteer for the Memorial Marathon and a delegate to the Oklahoma Athletic Training Association Student Leadership Committee (OATASLC).
In her free time, Vickers likes to stay active through strength training and participating in a variety of recreational sports. She also likes to spend time outdoors or traveling with family and friends. Vickers favorite superhero is Wonder Woman.
