Sebastiano Ibarra joined UTSA as a ticket sales representative in February of 2023 after serving the university as a student worker from 2019 to 2023. He is responsible for generating profits for the university via ticket sales by managing accounts of clients, ensuring customer satisfaction on both incoming and outgoing phone calls and developing and maintaining relationships with a variety of prospects.
Along with his work at UTSA, he also serves as a head coach for Kinetic Kids where he provides guidance to children with special needs in sports and recreational activities by creating and implementing game plans for practices. Along with this, he also creates movement-based exercises to substitute for physical therapy.
He graduated from UTSA in 2023 with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. He also has earned his certification in coaching adapted sports from the National Federation of State H.S. Associations, as well as his certification in CPR and his safe sport certification. Ibarra will be beginning his master’s program at UTSA in spring of 2024.
