Wright joined UTSA as Assistant Athletics Director/Brand Management and Advertising in May of 2026, making the return to athletics following a stint as a marketing consultant in the real estate industry for two years.

Previously, she was the Director of Social Media & Photography at Stephen F. Austin from 2023-24, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications and a double minor in advertising/public relations and social media in 2023.

In her role at SFA, she managed strategic marketing plans for Men’s Basketball and Baseball programs, among other responsibilities. She curated game clips and graphics across all of Lumberjack athletics and managed the social media content calendars for multiple sports. Wright played an instrumental role in growing and tracking engagement at SFA, maximizing content and improving individual student-athlete branding.

Wright spent 2023 as a Media Relations Coordinator at Abilene Christian, serving as the department’s primary photographer, coordinating individual team content days, and building content calendars.

Before receiving her degree at SFA, Wright was a Sports Social Media manager as a student, with duties including monitoring engagement trends, testing social media strategies and increasing social media traffic.
