Justine Humphrey joined UTSA’s Sports Medicine Staff in July 2022 and currently works with the UTSA football team as an Assistant Athletic Trainer. Previously, she worked as a Resident Athletic Trainer for the football and women’s tennis teams at UTSA while completing the UTHealth San Antonio Rehabilitation Residency program.
Humphrey is a native of Phoenix, Arizona, and graduated from the Arizona State University in 2020 with her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. She then went on to High Point University to complete her Master of Science in Athletic Training, graduating in 2022. While completing coursework, Humphrey gained athletic training experience while providing coverage to the Wake Forest University Football, Davidson College Football, Track and Field and Women’s Soccer, as well as local high school athletics. During this time, she also completed a seasonal with the Carolina Panthers during their 2021-2022 season. As a part of this experience, she was awarded the PFATS & NFL Charities Minority Scholarship.
In her free time, Humphrey likes to go cycling, lift, paint, travel or play videogames.
