Jayson Vincent (M.Ed., LAT, ATC, S&F Dry Needling 1) joined the UTSA Sports Medicine staff in January 2017 and works primarily with the men’s and women’s track and field program.

 

Vincent is a native of Cincinnati, Ohio, and graduated from Miami University (OH) in 2014 with his Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training. He then went on to complete his Master of Education in Secondary Education from the Central Oklahoma, graduating in 2016. In 2015 he saw the Broncho’s ice hockey program win the American Collegiate Hockey Association Division 1 Ice Hockey National Championship. Vincent has also worked as an athletic trainer covering Miami Hockey School youth camps in Oxford, OH.

 

Vincent is certified in Personalized Blood Flow Restriction Rehabilitation and Sports and Orthopedic Regenerative Dry Needling Level 1.

 

In his free time, Vincent enjoys watching comedy shows or ice hockey and says his favorite superhero is Batman.
