Eric Menard joined UTSA’s Sports Medicine Staff in July 2023 as part of the UTHealth San Antonio Rehabilitation Residency program and in August 2023 transitioned to an Assistant Athletic Trainer role for the men’s and women’s track & field teams.
Menard is a native of Katy, Texas, and graduated from the Texas Tech University in 2020 with his Bachelor of Science and then continued at Tech for his Masters in Athletic Training, which he earned in May 2023. While completing coursework at Texas Tech, he covered Women’s Soccer.
In his free time, he likes to play ultimate frisbee or disc golf, cook and work out. Menard says his favorite superhero is Spider-Man.
