Eric Menard (MAT, LAT, ATC) joined the UTSA Sports Medicine staff in July 2023 as part of the UT Health San Antonio Rehabilitation Residency program and works primarily with the cross country and track and field teams.
Menard is a native of Katy, Texas and graduated from Texas Tech in 2020 with his Bachelor of Science and then continued on at Tech for his Masters in Athletic Training, which he earned in May 2023. While completing coursework at Texas Tech, he provided coverage for the Red Raiders’ women’s soccer program.
In his free time, he likes to play ultimate frisbee or disc golf, cook and work out. Menard says his favorite superhero is Spider Man.
