Carlie Heineman took over as the UTSA account manager for Anthony Travel in August 2022, where she handles all athletic department travel arrangements. A San Antonio native, Heineman played basketball for the Roadrunners from 2014-18, where she made her mark in the Roadrunners’ record book with the third-most three-pointers in both a career (192) and a season (69, two times) for UTSA.

Prior to moving into the administrative side of college athletics with her return to UTSA, Heineman was director of basketball operations for two seasons and later assistant coach for one season for the College of Charleston women’s basketball team from 2019-22, working in tandem with the head coach Robin Harmony in managing the team.

Before her time in Charleston, Heineman worked as a graduate assistant for the women’s basketball team at Lamar in the 2018-19 season, where she first began working on Harmony’s staff and helped the Cardinals to a 24-7 record and berth in the WNIT.

Heineman played 106 games in her four-year Roadrunner career at guard. A starter in her final two seasons, she averaged 7.3 points, 2.0 rebounds and 2.0 assists a game while shooting just over 35% from beyond the arc. Her 192 career three-pointers, including 69 in her senior season, rank third in Roadrunner history and she remains the top 30 program scorers with 768 points. Also putting in the work in the classroom, Heineman was named to the C-USA Commissioner's Honor Roll and earned the league's academic medal all four years.

Arriving from westside San Antonio’s William J. Brennan High School, Heineman graduated from UTSA in 2017 with her bachelor’s degree in English, earning her master’s in the same discipline while serving as a GA at Lamar.
