Callum Riley was named Director of Development for UTSA Athletics in October 2024, where he leads fundraising for the Roadrunner Athletic Fund (RAF) and oversees a team responsible for major gifts and annual giving in support of UTSA's 400 student-athletes.

Since joining the Roadrunners, Riley's team has delivered consecutive milestone years for the RAF annual fund, increasing funds raised by 94 percent over two years and growing membership to a record high. He has also led several sport-specific campaigns, generating new revenue to fund direct student-athlete support.

Riley also helps direct premium seating strategy for UTSA Athletics, delivering the football program's strongest-ever suite sales at the Alamodome in 2026 and introducing courtside seating for men's and women's basketball that sold out its inventory in its first year (2025).

Riley previously served at the University of the Incarnate Word (UIW) Athletics department as a Partnerships Coordinator, driving corporate sponsorship revenue to support the university's 23 NCAA Division I sports programs. He was promoted to Director of Resource Development, overseeing UIW Athletics' partnerships, ticketing and development units and achieving a department-wide revenue best in 2022. He later moved into the role of Communications & Special Projects Manager, leading communications strategy and special projects for an alumni base of more than 50,000 worldwide.

Riley also spent nearly six years in sports and marketing in the United Kingdom. As Membership and Marketing Manager for The Housing Forum, a cross-sector body representing more than £15 billion in annual investment across the UK housebuilding industry, he grew membership by 20 percent and served on the task force for two All-Party Parliamentary Group reports on affordable housing. He began his career at The Football Association (The FA), England's national governing body for football, as a Marketing and Communications Officer, helping launch the FA's new website in 2016.

Riley holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Business Marketing from UIW (2013), where he was a student-athlete and earned All-American honors in soccer. Originally from Leicester, England, he played in Leicester City FC's youth academy and represented England Schoolboys at the U18 level.

Riley's experience as a student-athlete motivates him today. Having seen firsthand how the right resources and opportunities shape young men and women into leaders, he's committed to helping Roadrunners find their path in competition, the classroom and life.

Outside of work, Riley is a youth soccer coach and avid Arsenal F.C. supporter. He also enjoys cycling, running, current affairs and good music…and is always up for a conversation about any of them. He lives in San Antonio with his wife, Heather, and their daughter, Harper.
