Brooke Williams was named UTSA Associate Athletics Director for Compliance in September 2023.

Williams came to San Antonio from the University of Southern California, where she worked in the Office of Athletic Compliance since 2018. She started her tenure as Assistant Director before being promoted Director in May 2019 and then to Senior Director in March 2023. During her time in Los Angeles, she oversaw the day-to-day compliance for the football program and was the compliance liaison for human resources, ticket sales, equipment and the office’s summer internship program.

In 2019, Williams was appointed to the JumpForward Development Council as a representative at the Division I level for two years. She joined the National Association for Athletics Compliance (NAAC) in 2018 and was selected for the Athletic Compliance Elite (ACE) Mentoring Programming in spring of 2019. In September of 2020, she was appointed to the Education Committee, where she now serves as the Vice-Chair. In her fourth year of membership with NAAC, she was presented with the 2022 Rising Star Award.

Since becoming an active member in Women Leaders in College Sports in 2017, Williams has been selected for the Women Leaders in College Sports Symposium (2019) and the Institute for Administrative Advancement (2020). She was appointed to the organization’s Awards Committee in September of 2019 and served two terms.

Previously, Williams served as a compliance assistant at Temple University’s Office of Compliance and Student-Athlete Affairs.

Williams graduated with a bachelor’s degree in sport and recreation management in 2017 and earned an executive master’s degree in sport business in 2018, both from Temple.

From September 2020, through June 2022, Williams served as a Director-At-Large for Temple’s School of Sport, Tourism, and Hospitality Management Alumni Association. She still currently serves as an adjunct professor at her alma mater in the Sport Business Graduate Program.

As a student-athlete, Williams lettered four years (2014-17) in lacrosse at Temple, where she was also a member of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) and served as the SAAC president in 2016-17 and vice president from 2015-16.

In spring of 2020, Williams was honored as a recipient of the Temple University 30 under 30 Award as a sport industry standout.
