Brandon Vilorio (MSAT, LAT, ATC) joined the UTSA Sports Medicine staff in July 2023 as part of the UT Health San Antonio Rehabilitation Residency program and works primarily with the football and women’s tennis teams.

 

Vilorio is a native of Greensboro, North Carolina and graduated from UNC Greensboro in May 2021 with his Bachelor of Science before extending his time at UNCG to complete his Master of Science in Athletic Training in May 2023.

 

While completing coursework at UNCG, Vilorio provided sport coverage for the Spartans’ women’s basketball, football and soccer programs. He completed internships at UNC Chapel Hill as part of the Football Immersion Athletic Training program and worked with Elon women’s basketball and football between 2021-22. Vilorio was with the Tar Heels when they won the ACC Coastal Division Championship and reached the conference championship game. He has also worked basketball camps at Duke, football camps at UNC and with the High Point Rockers baseball team.

 

In his free time, he enjoys weightlifting, hiking, and gaming with his brother and says his favorite superhero is Spider Man.
