Amber Pittman joined UTSA’s Sports Medicine Staff in October 2018 and works as the Administrative Associate and Insurance Coordinator for the department.

Pittman is a native of Littleton, Colo., and graduated from the University of Missouri in 2006 with her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education.

While attending Mizzou, Pittman played as a midfielder/forward for the Tigers’ soccer program and was named captain her senior year. She is ranked in the top ten in career goals in Mizzou history and ranked No. 1 in game-winning goals in a season and her career. Pittman was also named Offensive Player of the Year and Most Valuable Player during her four-year career.

After graduation, Pittman began teaching at the elementary level in Missouri before moving to Arkansas with her husband, Derek.
Pittman left teaching after moving to Washington and began working as an administrative assistant/insurance coordinator at a physical therapy clinic.

Most recently, Pittman was working at the University of Idaho as an Assistant to the Athletics Director, a Sport Administrator and assisted in the Compliance office.

Pittman enjoys working out, reading and spending time with her husband, and their two daughters Emma and Jozy and says her favorite superhero is Jesus.
