A Brownsville, Texas, native, Solis joined the staff after a year at the University of New Mexico in August of 2022. During her time with the Lobos, she was the primary contact for the women's soccer, cross country/track & field and baseball teams.

While pursuing her undergraduate degree at the University of the Incarnate Word, she served as the student assistant for UIW Athletics and was the primary contact for both the men's soccer and baseball programs from 2018-2020. She graduated with her Bachelor of Arts in Communication Arts, with a concentration in journalism, in May 2020.

She spent the summer of 2018 working with the San Antonio Missions, the AA-affiliate of the San Diego Padres, handling in-game social media duties and some public relations work. She then spent the summer of 2019 working with the Baton Rouge Rougarou, a summer collegiate baseball team composed of players from various institutions, mostly focusing on public relations and social media coverage of the team.
