Made an immediate impact as a freshman earning first team all-SLC honors at the No. 6 singles position in 2003. Looks to be a mainstay in the UTSA lineup for years to come.
As a Sophomore: Played mostly as the No. 5 singles position last year…Went 4-10 in while playing at No. 5 and posted a 1-1 record at No. 6…She collected three wins in SLC play in 2005.
As a Freshman: Excelled in the No. 6 singles position and earned first team all-SLC honors while going 5-1 in spring play ... also had a 2-4 mark while playing at No. 5 ... went 4-10 in doubles play at both the No. 2 and No. 3 positions.
Before UTSA: A Grand National Champion in Mexico in 2002 … represented Mexico on the Jitic Tour.
Personal: Born May 17, 1985, in Mexico City…Is the daughter of Victor Navarro and Maribel Anton de Soto… has two sisters (Maribel and Regina)…Majoring in business administration.
