Courtney Cremer is in her third season as UTSA’s director of operations, where she is responsible for the oversight of travel arrangements, practice scheduling, team managers, film exchange, academics and camp administration.
Cremer joined the Roadrunners coaching staff after a stint at Williamette University where she was an assistant coach for the women’s basketball team and the business operations assistant for the athletics department.
In her time in Salem, Ore., Cremer was a Jack-of-all-trades as she was in charge of team travel, film exchange, summer camps, film breakdown and scouting, while her on-court duties consisted of in-game player coaching and statistical tracking.
When she wasn’t coaching, she spent her time in the business office overseeing department budgets and purchase orders. Cremer was also the department liaison for all athletics gear. She also spent the last five years as a coach with Grant Youth Basketball.
Before joining the coaching ranks, Cremer played four seasons at Portland State University for current Williamette University head coach Peg Swadener. During her senior campaign, Cremer’s defensive skillset helped PSU capture its first-ever Big Sky regular season title.
Cremer earned her Bachelor of Science degree in human resource management from Portland State University in 2012.
