Four-year track & field standout at San Antonio Wagner High School … finished fourth in the high jump at the state meet in both his junior and season years … won multiple district crowns … cleared 6-9 in the high jump and measured 49-5 in the triple jump for personal bests during his prep career … also played football for the Thunderbirds for three seasons.
