Prior to UTSA
Broke the McKinney North High School pole vault record a total of six times during his prep career …  captured a pair of district titles and the area championship as a senior … grabbed gold medals in the pole vault at the 2019 District 10-5A Meet, Justin Vault Expo and Class 5A Area 9/10 Meet, where he cleared a personal-best height of 15-9 … finished fourth at the region meet … ended his career with the 14th-best clearance in the state of Texas and 27th in the nation.
