Appeared in 39 contests with 36 starts, 34 of which came at shortstop … hit .280 with six doubles, five homers, 13 RBIs, a .490 slugging percentage and .368 on-base percentage … recorded an eight-game hitting streak and 12-game reached-base streak during the campaign … had five multi-hit games, including a season-high three hits at UTEP (April 2) … posted a season-high three RBIs in a win over Incarnate Word (April 20) … recorded 47 putouts and 68 assists in the field … redshirted the 2015 season … was named to the Conference USA Commissioner’s Honor Roll.
Prior To UTSA
Was a two-year starter at Highland [Kan.] CC under head coach Heidi Jordan … as a sophomore she hit .370 with 15 homers and 61 RBIs to help lead the Scotties to the national tournament … in 2013 she put together one of the best seasons in school history as she became the school’s first freshman to earn first-team NJCAA Division II All-America honors after she led the team with a .504 batting average, school-record 21 homers, 14 doubles, 37 extra-base hits, 144 total bases and a .584 on-base percentage to go along with 62 RBIs … her 1.152 slugging percentage led all Division II players and her output helped Highland rank in the top 20 of several offensive categories, including slugging percentage (.620/2nd), homers (64/4th), RBIs (329/11th), total bases (751/11th) and doubles (85/19th) … also picked up All-Region VI and All-Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference honors that season … at DeKalb High School in DeKalb, Mo., she was a three-time all-state selection and was a team captain her senior year … also won letters in basketball and track … additionally, she was a three-time academic all-state selection and received the Award of Excellence trophy from the Missouri State High School Activities Association as the best female athlete of 2010-11.
