Appeared in 52 games and made 47 starts … started 28 games in center field, 10 in left field and nine as the designated player … hit .264 with 38 hits, 20 runs, two doubles, a triple and 10 RBIs … also stole eight bases in 11 attempts and recorded a .964 fielding percentage … totaled 15 hits, including a double, and four RBIs in Western Athletic Conference play … had six multi-hit games … produced the longest hitting streak of any UTSA player with an 11-game stretch from Feb. 23-March 15 … had a season-best three hits to go along with an RBI against Utah State (April 6) … also posted a pair of hits in games against Lamar (Feb. 10), Texas A&M (Feb. 23), Northern Colorado (March 17), Texas State (March 23) and San Jose State (March 29).
Prior To UTSA
Four-year starter and letterwinner as an outfielder for head coach Renee Bialas at Magnolia High School in Magnolia, Texas … helped lead the Lady Bulldogs to a 100-48 record, a state runner-up finish in 2010 and four straight bi-district titles … was named to the state’s all-tournament team in 2010 … earned all-district honors all four seasons and was named all-state as a sophomore and junior … in addition, she was tabbed District 17-4A Defensive MVP, All-Greater Houston Area by the Houston Chronicle and All-Montgomery County following her junior campaign … was a three-time recipient of the team’s Gold Glove Award … also excelled in the classroom as she graduated in the top 10 percent of her class, earned academic all-district all four years and academic all-state as a senior.
