As a junior (2011)
Started all 55 games at second base and hit .264 with a team-leading 11 doubles to go along with three homers, 16 RBIs and 23 runs scored … her 11 doubles tied for eighth in the conference … recorded a .376 slugging percentage, .321 on-base percentage and stole three bases in as many attempts … led the team with 11 sacrifice hits … had 12 multi-hit games and four multi-RBI games, both of which ranked third on the team … tied a career high with three hits four times … celebrated her 21st birthday by going a combined 6-for-8 with three runs scored in a double header sweep at Texas Southern (March 16) … had a season-high three RBIs at McNeese State (March 26) … had a season-best six-game hitting streak from March 13-20 and ended the season on a four-game streak … in the field, recorded 147 putouts and 106 assists in 267 chances … collected a season-high seven assists at Texas A&M-Corpus Christi (March 1).
As a sophomore (2010)
Played in 49 games with 32 starts at second base and 15 behind the plate … hit .282 with five doubles, a triple, five home runs and 18 RBIs … one of the toughest Roadrunners to strike out, with only 20 in 149 at-bats … led the squad with 13 sacrifice hits and recorded just six errors in 231 chances … posted 11 multi-hit games … had a season-best five-game hitting streak from April 10-17 in which she hit .526 with four homers, eight RBIs and five runs scored … named Southland Hitter of the Week after hitting .625 with three home runs, five RBIs, four runs scored and a 1.750 slugging percentage while helping UTSA take 2-of-3 from Central Arkansas … went 3-for-4 with a home run and two RBIs in a win over McNeese State (March 20) … posted a career-high four RBIs and scored three runs against the Bears (April 11).
As a freshman (2009)
Earned honorable mention all-league accolades … played in 57 games with 55 starts, 54 coming at second base … batted .274 with 48 hits, 24 runs, five doubles, three home runs and 15 RBIs … hit .299 with four two-baggers and 10 RBIs in Southland play … went 5-for-13 (.385) with a home run and three RBIs in the Southland Tournament … registered 11 multiple-hit games, including four with three base knocks … was 3-for-4 with a home run and three RBIs in the 12-3 run-ruling of UT Arlington in the conference tournament (May 8) … had three hits in back-to-back wins against Northwestern State (April 25-26) … went 3-for-5 with a double in the 3-2, nine-inning win at Texas State (April 10).

Brazoria County Offensive Player of the Year, first-team all-county and second-team All-District 24-5A selection as a senior at Brazoswood High School … three-year starter at second base, shortstop and outfield under head coach Laura Oltman … batted .347 as a senior, helping the Buccaneers win the district championship and advance to the regional final … named second-team all-county and the team’s Most Improved Player as a sophomore … batted .322 to help Brazoswood post a 31-4 record and advance to the Texas 5A State Tournament semifinal round in 2006 … member of the National Honor Society.

Born March 16, 1990, in Lake Jackson, Texas ... daughter of Paul and Kim Kappler ... has three sisters, Kristin, Lindsey and Korynne ... Kristin was a four-year letterwinner for the Roadrunners and was named third-team all-conference and to the Southland All-Tournament Team last season … majoring in interdisciplinary studies.
