Started all 48 games … batted a .327 … recorded 37 runs, 23 RBIs with 153 at bats … posted 50 hits, four doubles, three triples and nine home runs … earned 27 walks … had 12 multi-hit games and four multiple RBI games … posted a .948 fielding percentage with 67 putouts and 97 assists … led the team in batting average, on base percentage, runs scored, hits, triples, total bases, stolen bases, total plate appearances, at bats and assists … named first-team all-conference … named to the C-USA Commissioner’s Honor Roll.

Freshman (2021)
Started all 46 games … batted a .325 … recorded 26 runs, 14 RBIs and 123 at bats … posted 40 hits, six doubles, two triples, two home runs with 56 total bases … had 10 multi-hit games … led the team in batting average and assists, tied for doubles and games played … had a .963 fielding percentage with 89 putouts and 94 assists … earned 11 walks … named to the C-USA Commissioner’s Honor Roll.
 
Prior to UTSA
A three-sport athlete in high school, Kat Ibarra ran track and cross country in 2016-17 and played varsity softball all four years. Throughout her softball career, she was a two-time second team all-district honoree, first team all-district member and the 2017 Defensive MVP. Ibarra and her team were also three-time Region 3 6A bi-district champions, area champions, regional qualifiers and the 2019 regional quarterfinal champions. She was also named all-state athlete in cross country, along with being named the district and regional champions.
