Appeared in six matches with one starting nod and totaled 104 minutes on the pitch … got the start against Houston Baptist (Aug. 22) in the season opener … played a season-high 36 minutes in the finale against Southern Miss (Oct. 30) … also was named to the Conference USA Commissioner’s Honor Roll.

Prior To UTSA
Played the previous two seasons at Friends University in Wichita, Kan. … appeared in 34 contests with 32 starts and recorded four goals and five assists for the Falcons … as a freshman she earned Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week honors after scoring the game-winning goal against Bethany … prior to her time at Friends she attended Champion High School in Boerne, Texas … was a two-time first-team all-district selection and took home all-region honors as a junior … was the team’s captain and offensive MVP as a senior and was named the MVP of the senior showcase game … also earned second-team all-district and to the state’s all-tournament team after helping the Chargers to a state runner-up finish as a sophomore … Champion also was a region finalist and area finalist during her tenure … in addition, was an academic all-state pick … played club ball for the Dallas Texans San Antonio ’94.

Born on June 29, 1994, in Fridley, Minn. … daughter of John and Julie Struck … has two brothers, Jake and Jeremy, and a sister, Lindsee … majoring in multidisciplinary studies and one day would like to work in communications for a non-profit organization.
